The scientific program for the 2009 meeting of the CONGRESS ON SPINAL CORD MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION will feature instructional courses/symposia; and an additional element--"Best Practice/Expert Panel" discussions. Individuals interested in assembling expert panels can do so by using the Instructional Course Proposal form provided on the CONGRESS ON SPINAL CORD MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION. "Expert Panels" is a way to permit in-depth discussion on a specialized topic within spinal cord treatment by senior practitioners in the field. The emphasis will be on each presenter speaking on the stated topic from his/her personal experience. Proposals with subject areas that are matched with elements of the list of preferred meeting topics will be particularly appreciated. Differences of opinion among presenters are likely, and discussion among panelists and between the panel and the audience will be encouraged. Each panel will present during a 90 minute time frame. If you are a senior practitioner with considerable experience in a specialized area of SCI treatment, and have colleagues with similar credentials, please consider submitting a proposal for an "Expert Panel" at the 2009 CONGRESS ON SPINAL CORD MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION. If you are interested in assembling an expert panel on best practices in one of the preferred topics listed below, please do that under the Instructional Course Proposal heading on the web site. Indicate "Best Practice/Expert Panel" and limit faculty to a maximum of four individuals. Proposals may be made in, but are not limited to the following preferred topic areas:
Your course proposal submission MUST follow the format in this PDF sample file. Before you begin the submission process, please be sure it follows this format and is a Microsoft Word document. Any questions can be directed to Patty Duncan. |
